I found this recipe in one of Gretchen’s cook books: From Asparagus to Zucchini. Seeing as everyone will now be receiving lots of greens in their shares in the next few weeks, I thought this was a good time to share this recipe.
1 bunch Kale
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons sesame oil
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
dash of black pepper
Chop kale stems and leaves. Steam stems a couple minutes then add the greens and steam until tender. Squeeze out water. Mix other ingredients in bowl, and then add greens. Mix, chill and serve.
